Welcome!

Friends of Bethlehem Parks and Recreation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that works with the Parks and Recreation Department of the Town of Bethlehem, New York to improve Bethlehem parks, recreational programming and their usership — by raising funds, organizing volunteers and increasing awareness.

This year, Friends of Bethlehem Parks and Recreation has launched the "Sun-Safe Bethlehem" initiative to help everyone stay safe while enjoying our parks. Ultraviolet (UV) radiation is the root cause of most skin cancers. Anyone going out in the sun needs to take precautions against UV exposure. Friends has put together resources on our Practice Safe Sun page to help you keep your family safe all year round.
